Cancellations, Refunds and Changes

Please understand that we have the right to cancel a camp due to low enrollment. Camps are      typically canceled two weeks prior to the specific camp start date and the full camp amount will be refunded. Camps will meet on the first day regardless of the number of campers that have signed up.  After the first day, if a camp does not have the minimum number required, a decision will be made about cancelling the camp for the remainder of the week.  If a camper is changing from a camp that costs less than the original selection the difference will not be refunded. Cancellations made after May 31, 2024 will not be refunded unless the camp is canceled due to insufficient enrollment.

Photographs

Unless we have a written letter to the contrary, Valwood will assume that any picture taken of campers may be used in the Valwood School or Valwood Summer Camp program, publications or website.

Cancellations

Valwood School reserves the right to cancel a portion of camp without issuing a refund due to      illness, extreme weather conditions, power outages and any other unforeseen situation that      compromises the safety of the campers and staff. These decisions will be made with careful        consideration and in consultation with the Head of School. Notices of closure will be posted on the Valwood School Facebook page and on the Valwood School website.
